Julie Chen Moonves will host the summer hit reality series Big Brother. The show will return to CBS on August 5 for its third season. Chen Moonves has been an integral part of The Talk since 2010, in which she served as both moderator and host. Then it was when she began writing that her real passion began to emerge. Then she won a second Emmy as a host of an exceptional entertainment talk show. The Talk is a show which examines the current news by having five hosts. Chen Moonves co-hosted CBS News' weekday morning program The Early Show in 2002 in 2010 and then became the host of the talk show. In the past, she served as CBS Morning News anchor and hosts on The Early Show. Following 9/11, she traveled to Cairo to conduct an interesting and fascinating interview. Chen Moonves interviewed celebrities such as Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie. Also, she spoke to the former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani and Queen Rania. Chen Moonves also reported for the Emmy-winning CBS Sunday Morning news show that profiled celebrities like Jamie Lee Curtis and Paula Abdul.Prior to The Early Show, Chen Moonves worked as anchor and reporter for the CBS-owned WCBS-TV station that was based in New York City (1997-1999).Before joining CBS News, Chen Moonves worked as a reporter at WDTN-TV Dayton (1995-1997). She was a producer for ABC NewsOne (1992-1995), the news affiliate of CBS, and she was an office assistant for ABC News' Los Angeles bureau (1990-1991), while finishing her senior year at the University of Southern California. As a desk-assistant for ABC News late night broadcast Nightline, she worked with Ted Koppel. He remains an inspiration to her in the field of journalism. Chen Moonves, who won Columbia du-Pont for the primetime Anatomy of a Riot special that explored the 1992 Los Angeles riots, worked in conjunction with Koppel.
